Sometime during a cold winter Kim decided to glue a photo to a piece of plywood and an idea was born. They started by selling the panels at the Portland, OR last and first Thursday artwalks.
The response was fantastic and they realized that they may have stumbled upon something. In June 2006 they joined the Portland Saturday Market and have been there ever since.
In February 2006 they came up with the name Plywerk and besides a new saw and a better basement workshop the rest is history.
